Fishing around Buffalo Harbor has been astonishing. Anglers from all over the country think so too. This weekend, July 26-28, 350 boaters and co-anglers will test the waters and vie for top honors to win the $85,000 first prize in the Costa FLW Series Northern Division bass fishing event on Lake Erie.

Action will start with take-offs at 6:00 a.m. each morning from the Buffalo State Park Marina (Safe Harbor) at 1111 Fuhrmann Blvd. The end-of-day weigh-ins will take place at the Marina on Thursday and Friday starting at 2p.m. each day, but the final weigh-in will take place at Cabela’s in Cheektowaga, 2003 Walden Ave. on Saturday, starting at 3 p.m. The weigh-in and take-offs are open to the public and free to attend.
