New Hires Appointed to Work for Town of Elma

The Elma Town Board made several appointments and accepted one resignation from various town positions at its regular board meeting on July 18.

Included among the appointments were Paula Martinez to the position of part time clerk in Supervisor Dennis Powers’ office. Powers said that Martinez will be paid $12.50 per hour and will assist secretary and bookkeeper Kerry Galewski in her duties. Previously, Martinez had been employed in the business office at the Iroquois Central School District as a part time “on-call” employee, he added.
