While it’s a short bridge that most might not think about unless they are walking over it, the bridge on North Grove Street will have lots of attention directed its way over the next few months.

The bridge, located north of Ridge Avenue and running over Tannery Brook, has been closed since late last month as holes were found going through the structure. The damage was discovered following road work that took off the top layer of the street to prepare it for paving. At this time, the bridge is closed to vehicle traffic. The sidewalks remain open at this time.
