With teachers, students and other staff members on summer vacation, it may seem as though the education business shuts down and goes dormant during the warmer months.

However, all school districts have employees that work year-round. Superintendents and other district officials are constantly looking forward and trying to improve the performance of the students of the district, and the newspaper recently sat down and discussed education with two local superintendents about the current status of education and what they offer.
